SAP SuccessFactors Apple Watch App
MY ROLE
UX, Visual Design
Project Overview
In 2015, SuccessFactors had begun to revamp our entire mobile experience. As part of the company's demo of the latest and greatest from our suite of products, the mobile team wanted to showcase a demo of our first app for the Apple Watch. Working closely with product management and one of our development teams based who were based in Copenhagen, I helped design our first wearable experience.
Project Details
As the vast majority of our product suite is catered towards line managers and executives of small to medium sized companies, the app needed to allow users to accomplish a handful of simple but frequently-used tasks. We focused on Approvals (i.e, rating an interview candidate, a pay increase, or vacation request) and Upcoming Meetings (either one offs or recurring). Specific flows were designed for each task, with variants of each all accounted for. For the meetings function, users would be able to:
View upcoming occurrences
Meeting details (location, time, and attendees)
Perform meeting-specific actions (accept, decline, etc)
The approvals functionality would allow the user to:
Take action on up to 4 different types of approvals (with another 6 to be supported in the future)
Quickly approve or decline an approval
View a small subset of additional details on an approval
Users could also:
Access a list view of both approvals and upcoming meetings
View an individual's profile
The prototype was shown at SuccessConnect, the company's largest annual conference which showcases the most promising products and features from the upcoming roadmap.
